- Replaces existing water main and tees, valves and service lines on E. Highland between S.E. 1st and S.E 9th Streets
- Replaces existing line with ductile iron pipe
- May require temporary relocation or replacement of pressure reduction valves to increase water pressure for residents
WHY IT’S NEEDED
The E. Highland Avenue area is near the boundary of two pressure zones and has had historical pressure problems on the verge of failing to meet state minimum pressure requirements of 20 pounds per square inch. This project improves water pressure and circulation.
