- Replaces existing water main and tees, valves and service lines on E. Highland between S.E. 6th and S.E 10th streets
- Replaces existing line with ductile iron pipe
- May require temporary water services to provide water to local residents during construction
WHY IT’S NEEDED
The E. Highland Avenue area is near the boundary of two pressure zones and has had historical pressure problems on the verge of failing to meet state minimum pressure requirements of 20 pounds per square inch. This project improves water pressure and circulation.
