- Installs new booster pump station in aboveground structure.
- Utilities will be brought to the site with about 1,000 feet of 12-inch ductile iron water line.
- Station includes new pumps, controls, piping, valves, heating, and cooling.
WHY IT’S NEEDED
The water system along E. Highland Avenue has historical pressure problems on the cusp of not meeting state minimum pressure requirements of 20 pounds per square inch. This booster station will improve water pressure and enable new water mains to to be installed to the south and east of currently developed areas, encouraging further development.
