WHY IT’S NEEDED
The equipment in the Moore Booster Station is nearing the end of its useful life, which contributes to increased maintenance costs and difficulty in procuring replacement parts. Although the development of the southwest portion of the City includes plans for the southwest water storage reservoir, the Water System Master Plan calls for the Moore Booster Station to back up nearby pump stations that will be converted to supply the new reservoir.
