- Reconstructs the pump station in an aboveground structure to provide sufficient room for operation and maintenance.
- Pumps will be resized to meet future demands for service in the area and may require property acquisition.
- Includes new pumps, valves, control, and electrical systems.
WHY IT’S NEEDED
The current booster pump is undersized and obsolete. A replacement station would expand to meet growth projections. The booster pump is a backup for Well No. 6 and serves industrial areas as well as the Eastern Oregon Higher Education Center, Walmart Distribution Center, Pioneer Seed, and the Eastern Oregon Trade and Event Center.
