- Replaces lift station behind the sidewalk to eliminate safety hazard
- Replaces duplex pumps and upgraded electrical and control systems, mechanical pumps, rails, and valves
- Wetwell storage capacity may need to be increased based on growth predictions
- If wetwell meets capacity requirements and is structurally sound, current lift station could be retrofitted with new roof and traffic-rated lid to save money.
WHY IT’S NEEDED
The pump station was built in approximately 1981. The existing duplex pumps and electrical systems need to be replaced and the aboveground roof placement in the sidewalk is a traffic hazard.
