Recycled water treatment plant.

DESCRIPTION

PROJECT ID: S 23.0
ESTIMATED COST: $585,000 (total deposits)
ACTUAL COST: TBD
  • Includes installation of new pumps and motors at the recycled water treatment plant
  • Upgrades needed on approximately 67 implements during the 20-year service life, including primary screens, raw water pumps, mixers, aeration blowers, membrane bioreactor feed pumps, chlorine injector pumps, metering systems, irrigation pumps, aeration blowers/mixers, and recirculation pumps

WHY IT’S NEEDED

Pumps and motors at the recycled water treatment plant provide service for 10-20 years. Most equipment was installed in 2014, but several pumps were last upgraded in 1981. Replacement must be completed in a short timeframe, so saving money is necessary to fund the project when the lifespan is reached.
