- Replaces and widens the bridge across the ‘A’ Line Canal.
- Work to be completed during low flow to minimize installation issues.
- New box culvert and foundation will be installed, with the addition of a future sidewalk extension and new guardrails.
- Existing gas line will be accommodated for.
* Plus inflation depending on year constructed
WHY IT’S NEEDED
Replacing the single-lane bridge on S.E. 10th Street across the ‘A’ Line Canal will provide for two lanes of traffic, accommodate sidewalks, and improve structural integrity.
This is the third phase of the Hermiston Gettman Road/Railway Alternative Transportation Enhancement Project.
