- The tank will be drained so the interior can be painted
- Piping will need protective coat to prevent contamination
- After painting, reservoir will need to be disinfected before refilling
- May be combined with Water Project 23.0 to avoid cost of bringing contractor to site twice
WHY IT’S NEEDED
The reservoir was built in 1991 and the interior hasn’t ever been recoated. Without cathodic protection mentioned in Water Project 12.0, a new coat is needed.
